AcoustiCy offers soundproof system for new and existing walls and partitions. We offer framed and frameless soundproof systems, depending on purpose and application.

Both systems have their pros and cons, but both provide a great level of soundproofing.

The key component of the system is a sndwitch of acoustic plasterboard, which is nearly 3 times heavier than a regular one and thick agglomerated rubber mats (ECORUBBER). It also includes special fixing elements and perimeter dampening tape. It is crucial to perform the correct installation procedure. Even a minor fault may lead to a significant reduction of soundproofing effect of the system.

AcoustiCy technicians are highly qualified to install the soundproof wall systems.

AcoustiCy ART3 Soundproof System

System Description

Plasterboard with an ecorubber® panel coating on one side of 750 Kg/m3, for sound insulation and vibration-damping effect.
In order to increase mass and decouple the existing surface from finish wall surface we use a combination of ECORUBBER (Thick agglomerated rubber mats) and special acoustic Gypsum Board, nearly 3 times heavier than the standard boards. This “sandwich” allows to absorb sound energy and prevent the vibration from passing through the wall.

System Application

AcoustiCy Art. 3 System is widely used for masonry and plasterboard partitions where a very high sound insulation is required (cinemas, clubs, pubs, etc.). Furthermore, it is used for masonry walls to increase their sound-insulating power, and as partition panels, in apartments, hotel rooms, offices, in housing and commercial construction.
Frameless systems are good, when the space does not allow to install framed system, as well as to preserve a solid wall structure. It works better for vibration and impact blocking. Framed systems are 100% decoupled partitions, however they require more space to install.
